Being successful is nothing new for Deno and Tommy Cholkas.
The brothers have been working in the business for 35 years and have had a 25 year
partnership together that is well known throughout Florence and the surrounding community.
Recently there has been a new addition to their
partnership, George B. Tassios, who has a
respectable reputation for his fast food as well.
The Town House is known for its high quality food items, but the Greek grilled chicken
is one of their best sellers and is given special treatment. The owners like to consider
it the best in town. The menu includes fried chicken, hamburgers, seafood, barbecue and
other items. Grilled chicken is given special treatment
 at the TownHouse. "The grilled
chicken is one of our best sellers. We like to think it's the best in town," Deno says.
The Cholkas brothers have extensive backgrounds in the fast food restaurant business,
having weather over three decades in the highly competitive Florence market. Tommy, who
arrived from
 Greece in 1972, and Deno worked at several of the other fast food restaurant
before starting out on their own. The brothers seem to have found the recipe for success,
much like their grilled chicken.
The two brothers are often seen talking with customers, getting to know their likes and
dislikes. "When people go out to eat, they want their meal ready when they need it ready.
Plus, they want it how they want it. You really have to stay in touch with the customers,"
Deno says. Location is one of the biggest factors for a restaurant's success and Town House
scores well in that area. Through the years the brothers have made a lot of friends.
One of them, George Tassios, is a new part owner of the restaurant. Deno, Tommy and George
found an opportunity and made the best of it.
The Town House welcomes everyone to come and enjoy the finest fast food in Florence.
They take pride in serving their food to the customer's satisfaction. The Greek trio
